Songs in the classroom (for First Certificate/Advanced levels)

Music has always played the most important role in my life, therefore my lessons are always -directly or indirectly- related to it. I am currently working on a project with my friend and colleague Theodora Pap and I was looking into songs that refer to relationships (mainly family and love ones). Below you can find a list of some of the songs that can be used for listening practice but they can also serve as nice stimuli for in-class discussions on topics such as the generation gap (Father and Son), domestic violence (Family Portrait), loss of a beloved one (Wish you were here) etc.
