Teacher Training & Academic Support Services

As a teacher, I’m forever grateful to my learners and all the wonderful educators and trainers I’ve met in my teaching journey and whose lessons have shaped my teaching practices. These learning moments and experiences have inspired me to create a space where we can all come together to learn, share classroom practices and explore new teaching tools and ideas. Join me in this journey of teacher training, but most importantly lifelong learning.

My site evolved from my blogging space, a place where I’ve been sharing ideas, practical teaching activities and reflections on teaching and learning for more than 11 years now.

As an extension of this cycle of sharing and learning and my experience as a trainer and presenter, I have decided to include in my page a series of online teacher training workshops. My workshops offer:

A balance of theory and practice as my goal is for you to experiment with activities designed to engage learners and promote student voice and learner autonomy.

Worksheets with the activities the workshop focuses on as well as additional resources that can be used or adapted for your lessons.

Apart from my teacher training workshops, I also provide the following services:

Customized Teacher Training Workshops: I offer both online and face-to-face workshops which are designed to meet the specific needs and goals of your teaching context. My workshops focus on interactive, engaging activities and practical strategies that can be easily applied to your classroom setting. I specialize in workshops relating to student-centered practices in exam preparation courses, but I can design and offer workshops on various teaching methodologies, classroom management techniques, and assessment strategies.

Curriculum Development Support: I can develop or adapt and refine your school’s syllabi, teaching materials, and resources so that they better align with your school’s educational objectives and standards. Depending on your school’s/teaching context’s needs, my Curriculum Development Support can also include designing your school’s assessment tools and strategies, your course evaluation materials as well as suggested activities on how to differentiate approaches and resources so that they meet your learners’ needs.

Teacher Support (In-Classroom Observations and Feedback): I can conduct observations of teachers in the classroom and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their teaching practices as well as suggest tools for self-reflection and professional development.

Project Management Tools and Strategies: I mostly focus on how Project Management progress tracking and Needs Analysis tools can be applied to your classroom and school context to better meet your school’s and learners’ needs.
